Wolf Laurel Country Club

"Elevated atop the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Wolf Laurel Country Club golf course is both beautiful and challenging. Adorned with the credentials of being one of the highest courses east of the Mississippi River, its elevation and stunning views separate it from other courses in North Carolina. With elevations at almost 5,000 feet, spring, summer and fall temperatures make for perfect playing weather. Designed in 1965 by W.B. Lewis, the course rises and falls from 3,600 feet to 4800 feet in elevation. This 18-hole championship mountain course winds through Wolf Laurel Resort and is conveniently located just a few miles off of Interstate 26."

Reems Creek Golf Course

"Reems Creek Golf Club is in Weaverville, North Carolina (Just 10 minutes north of Asheville) and offers a secluded setting that captures the splendor and beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Reems Creek has been regularly rated at 4 stars on Golf Digest’s prestigious “Places to Play” list. Most of the holes on this par-72 mountain course have elevation changes that test your ability to pick the right club to fit the terrain. You’ll also find that most of the par-4s are target holes that require accuracy and strategy. Reems Creek offers the unique opportunity to play on all Bentgrass turf."

Asheville Municipal Golf Course

"Asheville Golf Course is a true gem and one of the oldest courses in Western North Carolina. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this classic layout was designed by famed course architect Donald Ross in 1927 and it accomplishes the difficult double task of being challenging and fun. The front nine of the par 72, historic course spans 3,246 yards from the back tees. Its scenic design allows for the use of a driver on most holes. Meanwhile, the 3,194 back nine favors accuracy over distance. Although not long by today’s standards, the course proves length does not make a great course."
